While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I found behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of uncleaned spills and neglected washrooms filled the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of excrement , a rotting odor and sour vomit . The counter , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and trash that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The bathroom was in even worse condition — spilling over , with a snapped lever and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was human excrement .

Going through other patrons’ reviews and conversing with residents , it seems that the level of hygiene (or lack thereof) at this bar is a persistent problem .
